In this lesson students explore colour, shape and unity while learning about the artist Sonia Delaunay. Students will create an oil pastel drawing inspired by Delaunay’s artwork using bright colours and repeating shapes. Students will then create a paper collaged work using simple shapes and cut their drawing into pieces to layer over their collage to create a new composition and display for their work.
