In this lesson students explore colour and line to represent emotion while exploring the book Happy by Mies Van Hout. Students will use a Chinese brush to make marks using Indian ink. Students will use these marks to create the shape of a fish which represents an emotion. Students will then use water colour paints to add colour to their work to further enhance the representation of their chosen emotion.
