In this lesson students explore colour and shape while working through the process of creating an air-drying clay slab artwork and learning about the artists Pete Cromer and Bronwyn Bancroft. Students will develop an understanding of how to join and shape clay using modelling tools. They will analyse and draw inspiration from the work of Pete Cromer and Bronwyn Bancroft and develop an understanding of how layers, shape, and colour are used to create artworks.
