In this lesson students will explore shape, balance and space while learning about the artist Flora Waycott. Students will use water colour paints to create their own coloured papers. Students will then draw out the design for an insect and cut out their pieces symmetrically. Students will add small details to their design with symmetry in mind before constructing the composition of their piece.
