In this lesson students will explore the expressive qualities of line, shape and form through observational drawing and sculpture. Inspired by CJ Hendry’s Flower Market series, students will create a series of continuous line floral studies, then transform one into a wire sculpture enhanced with textiles and embellishments. The series of lessons promote creative risk-taking, fine motor skill development, and critical engagement with contemporary art practices.
