In this lesson students will explore shape, colour and balance while creating a paper soft sculpture inspired by the Pormpuraaw artists and Japanese Koinobori carp streamers. Students will explore resist techniques with oil pastels and water colour before turning their drawings into a 3D sculpture using paper and stuffing based on tropical fish.
