In this lesson students will explore colour, texture, and form through contemporary sculptural practices, creating flexible wire flower sculptures. Inspired by CJ Hendry’s hyper-realistic flower series and Alice O’Hare’s illustrations, students will consider composition, materiality and the interplay between 2D and 3D art forms. They will apply problem-solving skills and the design process to construct, embellish and present their work with consideration of artistic intent.
