In this lesson students will explore, shape, colour, and texture to create a 2D relief 'Guardian' masks inspired by Ramesh Nithiyendran. Students will explore the significance of guardian figures from various cultures and their role as protectors of sacred spaces and public domains. Students will create their own masks using found materials, cardboard, and paint.
