In this lesson students explore form and colour while learning about the artist Gustavo Ramirez Cruz. Students will create a design and a sculpture inspired by Ramirez's creatures using foil, wire, and modroc. Afterward, students will paint and decorate their sculptures in layers to create their own unique creatures. Students will incorporate bright colours and pattern into their work to create a finished piece.
