In this lesson students will explore and analyse the works from artists Louise Meuwissen and Maria Nepomuceno. They will consider the artists use of materials, the environment and techniques to create their own Mixed Media Tie Dye Sculpture. Students will experiment with tie dye techniques to determine design choices. They will sketch and annotate their ideas and design process in their visual art journals. Students will explore the art elements of colour, form and texture along with the art principles of movement and balance.
